Neck Tension Release

Yoga block neck release ๐Ÿ’†โ€โ™‚๏ธ

This helps decompress the cervical spine (neck), decreases tension, and helps with posture by encouraging proper neck position.โ 

When you spend a lot of time on your phone or computer screen, you tend to have slumped posture where the head is forward and this strains the neck excessively.โ 

Use these exercises to reduce your neck tension while working to achieve a better neck and head posture.:

  • Lie on the yoga blocks to massage your neck. Rotate your head from side to side to release the different muscles in the area.โ 

  • Use chin tucks to encourage better head posture and deepen the massage release.โ 

Try these exercises for 30 seconds each exercise and repeat if necessary.
